More Cards

Thank you very much for all the lovely comments that I’ve received regarding my cards I’m not the most confident person regarding my hand-made items so they are much appreciated!

Here are some more of the cards that I made recently.

This week-end I’m working at the local craft show. I’m hoping to get some people interested in participating in some of my card-making classes. I’ve bought some business cards ($80.52 for 250 – ouch!- unfortunately on the credit card). I’ll let you know how I go. I’m most interested though in teaching classes to people who are going through some problems, health or otherwise, so that it can be some therapy for them. I’m not sure how to go about that at the moment but will look into it further.

I have cleared out the craft room in preparation for the tiling next week. I’ve sorted lots of stuff for my upcoming craft garage sale, but I still have too much stuff, so more culling is needed. Even though I need items for use in classes, I’ve signed up with a craft company now so I’ll have to use their products. (Yes and spend more money, but let’s not go there right now! At least I’ll get a discount and be able to make a little bit of money by selling their products!)

I’ve packaged a lot of my ribbons into 2 metre lengths for sale – I have a basket full of them. it took a while to measure and pack them up.

I’m going to use up some materials that I already have in classes with the Church Sunday school (I do these classes for free) and also I’m making up some more mini card boxes for sale as a few friends have asked if they could buy some.

Both kids are sick at the moment – Miss Sammyleia with tonsillitis and Master Sammyleia with some sort of virus – and as they don’t want much to eat, I can make do with left-overs tonight. I’m hoping that not cooking dinner will give me a little bit of blog-reading time!
