This is the first time all week that I’ve felt well enough to open my laptop. I’ve been floored with a nasty bout of what seems to be flu (I had the flu injection though) and bronchitis. I say floored literally as I’ve fainted three times this week while trying to go to the bathroom. (I have a sore and bruised nose as a result of one of the falls).
Apart from a visit to my doctor (my son drove me), it’s been me and my dog in bed all week. Everything (washing, ironing, cleaning etc) has been mounting up. Today is the first day that I don’t feel dizzy though so hopefully it’s near the end. At least I didn’t get it next month while on holidays!

I’m not very good at editing photos unfortunately. Mr Sammyleia is buying me a new camera soon for my birthday as this one isn’t being reliable and I’d hate it to play up while we’re overseas next month.
The one thing about being sick is that apart from doctor’s fees and medication, no money is being spent. As I haven’t been able to grocery shop the family has been living off what’s in the cupboards and fridge, which is a sort of decluttering I guess

Hope you are feeling better soon, at least you are getting it out of the way before your trip. I love those cards! They are even better than usual if that is possible!
